Jesus!

I have nothing to give my dear little girl; it's up to Jesus, then, to put Himself out for me, who am so poor. He is rich! May He adorn His little fiancée for the great day which is approaching in giant strides. Ah! already His wedding presents are prepared, already diamonds of an inestimable value are hidden in them. Her Jesus was really able to give her the most beautiful dress; He was eager to run as soon as there was a question of a celebration! May the little fiancée of sixteen not regret the years that are flying by. Her fifteenth year was rich in sacrifices. In heaven she will know their value! May little Jesus caress His little lamb with His dear little hand on this day of her sixteen years! May Mary bless her and hide her under her virginal mantle, and may St. Joseph present her to Jesus and Mary, and may our little Mother in heaven rejoice with them when seeing her forever in the sheepfold of Carmel.
