P.C.                                                                                                    Alleluia!

Beloved little sister,

I’d like as soon as possible to have news of 1stly your dear Mother, my dear “goddaughter"1 and 2ndly my little Léonie.

Hurry and answer me. I received the Lenten letter about the draft of our beloved Marie’s obituary circular and its wording brought me immense pleasure! Thank your dearest Mother for me.

The circular won’t be ready for another fortnight. You shall have the first copy.

As for the current events, I wish to forget them and think of the One who masterminds them and toils only for the good of His people. After all, earth is a place of exile; a valley of tears. Never will we turn it into a Paradise. And yet when we have peace in our hearts and our heads above the clouds, are we not already in Paradise?

Mgr Natucci wrote to me saying that “Léonie” and her Carmelite sisters form but one in his thoughts and prayers. This Prelate deserves all our gratitude. It’s unbelievable how much I owe him! He sent me some pictures of St Agnes for our two Communities.

I send you my love, beloved little sister, and ask you to give my love to my reverend Goddaughter for me.

Your little sister and mamma

Sr Agnes of Jesus
