Linen room

Very well-lit room that opened onto the meadow. We have no photo of it. It was the place where the head coverings, handkerchiefs and other items of apparel are made. They softened the linens stiff from drying, the room was under the attic where the linens were hung to dry after coming from the wash room.

On the left, we see the door to the linen room “St Pierre”, then the staircase to the attic.
