LT 200 - To Sister Marie of Saint-Joseph

LT 200 From Thérèse to Sister Marie of Saint-Joseph.

End of October, 1896 (?)

All goes well. The little child is a brave one who deserves epaulettes of gold. But more than ever, he is not to lower himself to fight with little stones; this is unworthy of him.... His weapon must be "Love."

The rest goes well, too, since the little child makes fun of Messire Satanas and since he sleeps always on the Heart of the Great General.... Close to this Heart, we learn courage, and especially confidence. The hail of bullets, the noise of the cannon, what is all that when we are carried by the General?. ..
