From Sister Marie‑Dosithée to Zélie Martin - February 4, 1877

From Sister Marie‑Dosithée to Zélie Martin. 4th February 1877.

Our Pauline was very surprised there was no miracle she believed that I would have recovered by 3 o’clock (which is when she was received into the convent) when our Rev. Mother said that I hadn’t, she threw herself at her drowning her in her tears and couldn’t say the customary prayer.

I am much the same, I am very weak however I think that I will go on for a fairly long time yet, may God’s Holy Will be done in life as in death.

My brother wrote to me, he asked if I had any Malaga wine: yes perhaps more than I will drink.

Tell him that as I cannot write I will send them a few lines from time to time like I do to you.

Entirely yours in the Sacred Heart,

Sr. M. Dosithée
