She's one who would get from it ecstasies and rev elations, for the Good Lord___________ [now] fewer privileges than the devil who called her his dear daughter. Regardless, some people have to be so lucky!

My prayers are offered in an aridity worse than a garden where no drop of rain has fallen, and, well, I would not be upset at seeing a little of what goes on in the other world.

Don't you know that Our Father St. John of the Cross has said that it is a venial sin to ask for ecstasies and revelations?

You'd be better off. it seems to me, if you'd recall the words of Our Lord: "Happy are those who have not seen and have believed." That would do you more good.

Listen, you enlighten me... The Good God said: Happy are those who have not seen and have believed," but he did not say: "Happy are those who have not heard.'' As for "s self, I'd be quite happy to hear without seeing; and you, my sister Marie of the Holy Spirit?
