Searching tips
The complex search engine permits many things.

To open it, click on the white search box in the upper right corner or on the word “search” on the bottom beige line at the left.
We can search by a word, for example the word “bird”.
The word “bird” appears in all sorts of texts: a score, in the poetry, the Manuscripts etc. Then click on the result to read the article.
When the article is very long, such as the testimony by Céline which contains the word “bird”, press the control key at the bottom left of the keyboard while holding down the f key (control + f). This opens a little search box on the bottom of the page. Type “bird” in it and it will appear highlighted on the page.
We can also verify if the word appears in a particular group.
To do that, click on “advanced search” at the bottom of the page, 2nd term from the left. After typing “bird” in “all of these words”, then select a subject area in category.
Please note, a specific area has to be selected such as Manuscript A, Manuscript B, Pn or Ps.
In Manuscript B, we discover all the instances in which bird appears in these folios.
When no category is selected, searching is then possible in the photo galleries of objects, works of art, pictures.
A simple search is possible using a single word.
Other searches are possible when combining bird with another word, such as little + bird.
These searches are possible using “advanced searching”. The results are posted in color for each word.
