Père-Almire-Théophile-Augustin Pichon,

Jésuite.


Born February 3rd, 1843 at Carrouges, died November 15th, 1919 in Paris.

A preacher of retreats, he came to preach in Lisieux in 1882. It was then that Marie Martin chose him as spiritual director. He met Thérèse the following year. He preached in Carmel in 1887 and 1888. That year, Thérèse, young postulant, met him in Carmel where he calmed her scruples. Father Pichon returned to Canada as a preacher. Thérèse corresponded with him, as well as her sisters.
