Antechoir

Room where the sisters assembled along the side of the back wall (can be seen in the foreground on the left) to prepare themselves to enter the choir in procession in two rows through the two choir doors. One of them can be seen on the right side of the photo. We don’t have any photo from the time period. It is also here that the person designated as the bell ringer waited for the exact time, reading in the books kept on the shelves. See the community library.
