Novena of grace to SAINT FRANCIS XAVIER - verso

Novena of Grace

This Novena is called "of Grace" because it was like a proverb where one inevitably obtained the favor asked for. "We wouldn’t know”, wrote a pious author in 1701, “how to tell in detail all the graces that were obtained through this novena everywhere it is known ... Experience has shown that there is no need, spiritual or temporal, in which one cannot nor one should even expect prompt aid when having recourse to this great saint, especially by the novena in his honor. "

This Novena can be done at any time of the year, but preferably from the 4th to the 12th of March (the anniversary of the canonization of the Apostle of the Indies), or from November 25th to December 3rd, in preparation for the feast of saint.

O God, who through the preaching and miracles of Blessed Francis, have wished to unite in your Church the nations of India, be favorable to us, and grant us to imitate the examples of virtues practiced by one whose glorious merits we venerate. Through Jesus Christ, Our Lord. Amen.

Prayer to recite each day of the Novena:
O most amiable saint, full of charity, St. Francis Xavier, I love respectfully the Divine Majesty with you, and because I rejoice about the singular gifts of grace that have been given to you in this life and those of glory after death, I give him very high thanksgiving, and I beg you with all my heart to want to give me, for your intercession effective, the main grace of holy living and holy dying.
In addition, I ask you to obtain for me ... (mention here the grace requested, whether spiritual or temporal).
But if what I ask is not for the glory of God and the good of my soul, obtain for me, I beg you what is the most useful for the one and the other. Amen. Our Father, Hail Mary, Glory be.
