You see the date of my letter, dear little sister. I thought Céline had sent it a long time ago. I believed you had received it!... Really, you will be thinking I have forgotten you.

Oh! little sister, how pleased your letter made me. I found once again my little Marie in it..........

thanks!... Adieu... I'm sending you this old letter. Just remember it should have been sent four days ago....
