My beloved little sister and “daughter”

Happy feast of Christmas! Happy New Year! How was your Advent? You will no doubt ask us the same question. Well, we have come out of that little reverential tunnel in good health. Sr M. of the S.H. was my only cause for concern because of the rheumatism in her leg. She can’t get rid of it and all morning I suffer to see her walk with such difficulty. Her stick helps. Without it, she wouldn’t be able to take a single step. She is better in the afternoons. I daren’t think about the future. I can’t see our eldest sister being immobile for long. Still, everything is in God’s hands, and He has every right to do with us what He wishes and to separate us when He chooses. Besides, the separation will be very short! We are old now.

Don’t be upset, little sister, otherwise I won’t tell you anything anymore. Besides, Sr M. of the S.H. is in good health otherwise. She did have a bad cold, but it’s gone now.

We are still snowed under with work. But God helps us wonderfully.

Tell your Mothers that we shall be united to them in prayer over the coming holy days. They are often present in our thoughts, prayers and hearts, as is our darling little sister.

Goodbye, little child of God, whom He has showered with blessings. One day, He will place you in His paradise with little Thérèse without first passing you through a fire other than that of love.

Little Mother

I’m sending you a few pictures that I was given.
