LT 260 - to M. and Mme Guérin - July 24-25 (?), 1897.

Little Thérèse thanks her dear Aunt very much for the nice letter she sent her; she thanks also her dear Uncle for the desire that he had to write her, and her little sister Léonie, who delights her because of her abandonment and her real affection.

Little Thérèse is sending some gifts to all her own. (Alas! these are some flowers as ephemeral as she is…)

There is a Pansy for uncle, a pansy for for aunt (not counting all those blooming for them in the garden of my heart).

The two rosebuds are for for Jeanne and Francis, the one that is alone is for Léonie…

With these flowers little Thérèse would like to send all the Fruits of the Holy Spirit to her dear relatives, particularly that of Joy !
