Joan, will your voices come back? I'd love to hear them, and see the Saints who sing so beautifully.

JOAN

They will not sing in your presence. And it's no more for me that they let themselves be heard, it is to save France. I'm just a feeble instrument chosen by God who will lead me by His mighty hand in order to complete His work.

CATHERINE

So, Joan, must I leave you?... I cannot get used to the idea!... At least, don't go without telling me.

JOAN

No, Catherine, I promise you that, and I hope I'll soon be back in my dear village of Domremy.

CATHERINE

Oh! I'm so afraid the king won't let you come back!...
