RP3 13v

What are you saying, Joan?... It's impossible!... Haven't your guides assured you of the complete deliverance of the kingdom, saved by you from English tyranny?... Have you been deceived?...

JOAN

No, my voices haven't deceived me and my mission is Divine. It's just that I must suffer for a while, and then I'll be delivered with great glory and honor. My voices have promised me and they have always kept their word.

THE DUKE

Are you going to continue fighting?... Might it be better to go into hiding for a while?...

JOAN

No, the Counsel of my Lord must come to pass... I'm going to lead the troops on to Paris, because it's very important that city belong to the king.

THE DUKE

Will you be captured at Paris?...

JOAN

I don't know. If I knew the city where I'd be taken prisoner, I wouldn't go there, but I don't know.

THE DUKE

If Paris refuses to surrender, where will you take the army?

JOAN
