From Sr Francoise-Therese (Leonie) to her three Carmelite sisters - November 21st 1910

21st November 1910

I’m sure, darling little sisters, that you are impatiently waiting for news and I’m hoping this will reach you very quickly, but our reunion will have to wait until we’re in heaven, because I’m going to Bayeux, and so instead of coming closer to you, I’m going further away, and this for the greater glory of God!

My distress at being obliged to leave the enclosure has considerably lessened, because our matchless Mother is accompanying me. I don’t know how to express my gratitude to her.

I thank you so much, little sisters, for your prayers and for the precious documents you sent me about our little “great saint”. They will be very useful for my testimony.

Monsignor de Teil sent us back my report. I’ve made all my notes. I would have found it very difficult without his help. You are going to laugh at me, and rightly so, because I have nothing to do in comparison with you, it’s true! But the little I do have is very considerable given my incompetence.

A car will fetch us on Monday morning from the entrance to the monastery, and take us directly to the Benedictines in Bayeux.
