From sr Francoise-Therese (Leonie) to her three sisters in the Carmel - June 8, 1930

8th June 1930

Dearest beloved little sisters,

I see from the card that little Mamma sent to our dear Mother that you have heard our great and good news. It is very pleasant for us to pass from one Mother to another without transition. Help us to thank God for it, because our Mother Jeanne-Marguerite is truly His Heart’s elect; she certainly has the necessary clemency. It’s almost cruel to burden her with a heavy cross at the age of 78, but we’ll all be so good that she won’t have any trouble leading us. Besides, she has everyone’s heart in the palm of her hand. Darling sisters, join me, if you would, in asking our Thérèse to be her heavenly nurse, because her health is far from satisfactory. Our Mother will need all her energy to overcome the many hardships she will face despite the care we are giving her, and we are concerned. However, we have not lost an ounce of faith in the One who has returned our Treasure to us.
