Darling eldest sister,

Happy and holy birthday! Since you’re going to be 77 years old on the 22nd, you can count on having a Communion from me. Beloved sister, immense glory awaits you up above, and I rejoice greatly in it! Life here below is a slow death. No matter how long it is, it’s only a dot in space compared with eternity. Which of us will go 1st? Only God knows, so let’s live in surrender, for that’s the best thing we can do.

Please thank the kind Missionary from Columbia for me. What generosity! The novena of Masses will be celebrated for the Sovereign Pontiff, and also for our two Communities, which form but one, as you know, because we are so closely united.

The play that was performed for your golden anniversary is delightful, my darling eldest sister! The words from the Holy Scripture are so appropriate and simply delight me.

Farewell until Easter, beloved little sisters. To tell you the truth, we are never apart. I think little Céline will be on retreat for the anniversary of her profession. She, too, can count on having a Communion from me.

It’s absurd!! People say you have central heating, and that your cells and offices are heated, but I formally denied this by saying that although your chapel was heated, you didn’t even have a radiator in your choir. There are so few who know the truth, it’s shameful.

With heart-felt kisses, dearly beloved trio.

Sr Françoise-Thérèse
