Dear little Mamma

It’s with a love more daughterly than sisterly that I come running into your arms in honour of the 79 years you have spent in the service of not only the best of Masters, but also a divine Spouse who is God. And He loves His cherished little lamb above all creatures, having chosen her amongst hundreds and thousands. He needs you, little Mother, to bring Him more glory and make Him loved and known through our Thérèse. You are definitely aiding her accomplish her providential mission, that’s why the supreme authority confirmed you as Prioress for life. Have faith, beloved little Mamma. You know that even the longest life is but a dot in space compared with the eternal bliss that awaits you, so I rejoice in your happiness as though it were my own. Yes, tomorrow the family will be reunited again in heaven. What ineffable bliss! . . . I send you and little Céline my love. What an unparalleled fusion . . .

P.S. The three petals represent the adorable trinity! The jasmine flowers are Mary, “our heavenly Mamma”.

The two sweet little roses are your beloved Goddaughter and your tiny little child.
