Darling little sister,

I’m writing to you between two meetings in the visiting room. You see, I’ve been talking to Rev. Fr Marie-Bernard all day about the statues. You see I haven’t made the most of the fine spring Sunday sunshine.

So I’ll be brief, because otherwise I fear my letter will remain unfinished.

Darling little sister, I wish you a happy feast day and all the spiritual graces that Thérèse deigns to grant you. My Communion on the 29th will be for my Léonie.

Our Mother’s feast day was lovely. There were lots of flowers, because we had replaced several displays that had been given to us for the chapel. In the evening, we showed her “The Little Way” drawings, which I had finished retouching, and then, over the next two days, the “Miracles”, which have considerably increased in number since you last saw them. Bit by bit, everything is coming together and being finalised.

I gave our Mother 2 enlarged photos of the Court members; one for his Lordship, and the other for us. The group photo of the 4 of us with you, didn’t turn out well, but I’ll try again. However, it will be several months until you have a copy of it, because I’m going to be very busy until 9th April, which is Sr Marie of the Angels’ fiftieth anniversary.

Sr M. of the Sacred Heart will no doubt tell you how shocked we were this morning to discover that all our rabbits and 8 hens had been stolen during the night. We’re going to have to raise the wall next to the Fleuriots’ property. The thief came from their garden.

I send you a fond kiss, much-loved little sister

Sr Geneviève of the Holy Face u.c.n.

Offer my affectionate regards to your newly Professed Sister. Ask her to pray for me.
