Darling little sister,

I don’t want to let the post go without sending you a hug, too, and telling you that your Céline is thinking of you on this, the anniversary of Thérèse’s entrance to heaven. Today is filled with so many exercises that it is an “exercise” in itself. We would prefer to look back on our memories in silence. But only in heaven will feast days truly be able to be called by this name. On earth, we can expect only work and poverty. I could almost say “worry” in light of current events, but I won’t because the Office written for our little saint reads, “Rest against the Lord and be at peace, for then the sweetest fruit will be yours to enjoy.” Oh, it’s so true! And we are as calm as if enjoying a period of great prosperity.

At the moment we are preparing for our dear eldest sister’s anniversary. I’m making her a few little gifts, but I have very little free time, which is why I haven’t found the time to write you a long letter, but I send you my love, and a big fond kiss.

Your little Sister

Sr Geneviève of the Holy Face
