Dear little sister,

Our Mother can’t bear the idea of you being upset on her feast day and would be very upset herself if I didn’t try to comfort you.

Like you, we noticed the omission that has been copied and recopied in the Annals and the Almanac and we were sorry to see it, but everything will be straightened out in the big book that is currently being published about the Congress and which will be the only valid reference. You know that, for each Congress, it is customary to publish a documentary book containing all the Congress speeches and photos. Cardinal Pacelli is demanding one already. Well, all the kinks will be ironed out in this book. Anything else is merely fodder for the superficial world.

So, darling little sister, don’t be upset anymore! Our Mother thanks you for your wishes. We’ll write to you for the 29th.

I look forward to it! Again, happy feast day!

Your little sister
