                   Dear little Jeanne,

I thank you very much for the notebook. It is extremely interesting. Our dear uncle was so pragmatic! – I wish I had known about this notebook before we testified, because it would have allowed us to clarify many details. I’m going to copy some of it out.

Now I would like to see everything, including the 2 metre long sheet of paper and what Fr Deslandes was shown etc., etc. It would be kind of you to send them to me. I wish I had information about Papa’s family and his parents’ relatives, but I have very little.

The photo of the Guérin-Séguin family amused me greatly but the writing is too small to read. I prefer the one of our “farm labourers”, because they are like the former patriarchs. Nevertheless, if you have a larger copy, I’d like to see it, for a laugh.

Goodbye, darling little sister. When will we all be in heaven and understand the mystery behind our passage here below?

                     Your little Céline
