LT 52 - To M. Martin - May-June (?), 1888

LT 52  From Thérèse to M. Martin.

May-June (?), 1888

J.M.J.T.

Little Jesus' postman is very kind, and I am sending him all my love and kisses. I shall gladly take the wine he is giving me, imagining it is coming from the cellar of the Child Jesus.

Dear little Father, it's you who are Jesus' postman; I know it. Oh! thank you. . .how kind you are to me!

Yes, I will always remain your little Queen, and I will try to be your glory by becoming a great saint.

Thérèse of the Child Jesus, the brilliant Diamond, and your very bright pearl kiss you.

They just showed me this instant the birds. Oh! dear little Father, how good you are. There are three birds, one for Papa's diamond, one for the bright pearl, and one for the little Queen. She will take care to do her best to resemble her King a little.
